Updated: Sep 7, 2026

This notice describes what personal data imm4u Ltd (“we”, “us”, “the Company”) collects when you use imm4u.co.uk, why we collect it, who we share it with and how we keep it safe.

By using the site or ordering our service, you accept the practices described here.

1. Who Is Responsible for Your Data

imm4u Ltd is a privately owned company registered in [Country] that provides an optional online assistance service for travellers applying for a UK Electronic Travel Authorisation (ETA).

Nothing about our business is governmental: we have no link to, and no endorsement from, the UK Government, the Home Office or any immigration authority.

Registered address: imm4u Ltd, [Address line 1] | [City] | [Postcode] | [Country]

2. The Data We Collect

To deliver the service, and in line with data-protection law, we collect the following categories of information:

  • Identity details — your full name as printed in your passport, nationality, date of birth, passport number and the facial photograph the ETA application requires
  • Contact details — email address, phone number and home or postal address
  • Trip details — reason for travel, planned dates, where you’ll be staying and related itinerary information
  • Payment details — card information, processed by a third-party payment provider; we never store full card numbers
  • Technical data — IP address, browser and device type, operating system, and how you interact with the site, gathered through cookies and analytics

We do not knowingly collect data directly from anyone under 18. Where a child needs an ETA, a parent or legal guardian submits the application and provides the child’s details.

3. Why We Use Your Data

We use your data only for legitimate business and legal purposes:

  • preparing and submitting your UK ETA application
  • sending receipts, confirmations and progress updates
  • answering your support and technical questions
  • measuring site performance and preventing abuse
  • keeping our systems secure
  • meeting our legal obligations

Our lawful bases for processing are performance of a contract, legitimate interests, consent where we ask for it, and compliance with legal obligations.

4. Who We Share Data With

We share data only where it is needed to deliver the service:

  • with the UK authorities, to submit your application
  • with payment processors, to take your payment securely
  • with technology providers — hosting, analytics and email/communication tools

Your personal data is never sold, hired out or otherwise turned into revenue.

Every provider we use is bound by contract to keep your data confidential and protect it appropriately.

5. How We Protect Your Data

We apply industry-standard technical and organisational safeguards against unauthorised access, alteration, disclosure or loss, including:

  • TLS encryption for all data in transit
  • access limited to staff who need it for their role
  • firewalled, secure hosting
  • routine monitoring and patching

No online system is completely secure, but we work hard to keep risks to a minimum.

6. How Long We Keep Data

We keep personal data only for as long as we need it for the purposes above, or for as long as the law requires.

When it is no longer needed, we securely delete or anonymise it.

7. Your Rights

Depending on where you live, you may be entitled to:

  • see the data we hold about you
  • have inaccurate data corrected
  • have your data deleted, or its use restricted
  • object to certain kinds of processing
  • withdraw consent you have previously given
  • complain to a data-protection regulator

If you are in the EEA or the UK, or in a US state such as California, you may have further rights under the GDPR, UK GDPR or CCPA/CPRA.

We may ask you to verify your identity before acting on a request.

8. Cookies and Analytics

We use cookies and similar technologies to keep the site working, improve your experience, measure performance and detect misuse.

You can control cookies through your browser settings.

We may use anonymised analytics tools such as Google Analytics to understand aggregate behaviour — session length, approximate region and how visitors move around the site.

Our Cookie Notice has the full details.

9. Changes to This Notice

We may update this notice when the law, our technology or our practices change.

The current version always lives on this page; continuing to use the service after a change means you accept the updated notice.
